Brandon Sinkbeil
Owner/President
Brandon has been involved in the environmental industry since 2004 and has become a seasoned expert in federal, state, and local regulations. He prioritizes the protection of human health and the environment in every project he undertakes. Brandon is dedicated to continuously enhancing his expertise and currently serves as the Co-Chair of the Colorado Environmental Professionals Association (CEPA) Regulatory Affairs Committee. He pursued his education at Montana Technological University and the University of Montana, where he triple majored in Society & Technology, German, and English Literature.
Steve Shurtliff
Environmental Specialist
Steve brings over a decade of experience to the environmental industry, having started in 2007. As a leader, he leverages the resources and expertise of his team of industrial hygienists to ensure smooth daily operations that meet the diverse needs of clients across Colorado and neighboring states. Steve’s deep understanding of federal, state, and local regulations, coupled with his talent for devising innovative solutions that save clients money without compromising project timelines, has been instrumental in setting DS apart in the industry. Steve pursued his education at Montana Tech and the University of Montana, where he double majored in Computer Science and Mathematics. Outside of work, Steve enjoys spending time with his wife Lisa and their two daughters, Harper and Henley.
Chris Lehman
Environmental Specialist
Chris has been in the environmental industry since 2007. Starting in environmental remediation, Chris has a unique perspective in industrial hygiene that has facilitated a wide range of skills. Specializing in client development, project management and excellent customer service that has created a passion for continual development. Chris possesses a strong knowledge of State and Federal regulations in a wide variety of environmental disciplines including asbestos, lead, mold, radon, hazardous materials, and safety. Chris attended Colorado State University with a BS in Business Management and an AA in Hotel / Restaurant Management and Culinary Arts. As a Colorado native Chris enjoys skiing and being outdoors, creating culinary delights, spending time with his wife and 2 beautiful daughters, and is a fanatic for all the local sports teams.
Tom Holzfaster
Environmental Specialist
Tom has worked in the Industrial Hygiene industry since 2008, and is an Environmental Specialist with DS. His areas of expertise include air quality, mold inspections, and soil contamination. Tom got involved in this industry through a drive to protect our communities through responsible, cooperative responses to environmental hazards. He enjoys a challenge, and is always pushing himself to learn more about governmental regulations and best practices to provide top notch service to our clients while protecting the environment to the very best of his abilities. With a degree in Electronic Engineering Technologies from ITT, and a background in information technologies, Tom brings a perspective and background to the team that no one else does. Tom is a Colorado native, and in his free time you can find him skiing, cycling, or hiking. If you need a good recommendation on trails to check out, Tom is your guy!
Albert Montoya
Environmental Specialist
Albert has been an Industrial Hygienist since 2007. He brings with him a track record of great customer service while adhering to state and federal regulations regularly. He has extensive knowledge in overseeing abatement projects from beginning to end, as well as monitoring the air quality during and post abatement. Over the years Albert has built a great reputation in the Industry and prides himself on being able to serve the client in a successful manner. Albert is a Colorado Native, and loves spending time outdoors running, snowboarding and playing sports. His favorite thing to do though is spend time with his Wife (Sarah) and three boys’ (Zander, Roman, and Arian).
Sean Work
Environmental Specialist
Sean brings a degree in Environmental and Sustainability Studies as well as experience in multiple fields to the table. His time spent as a Quality Control specialist honed his eye for detail, and experience in Business Management has given him skills in hospitality and customer service. He has enthusiastically dived headlong into his new work, and looks forward to many years in the industry. When off the clock he enjoys spending time with his family, and his interests are music, gaming, and hiking.
Ryan Passarelli
Environmental Specialist
Ryan is a very outgoing, transparent person that brings organization and professional skills to the hygienist field. Ryan has been involved in multiple aspects of the industry over his career since 2006, including school districts, restoration, railroad, soil, condemned buildings, state & federal projects from start to finish. Initial sampling/discovery to signing demolition permits and everything in-between.
David Moss
Environmental Specialist
David has a degree in environmental studies from the University of Colorado Boulder. His time spent in the fine dining industry has helped him develop an eye for detail and the importance of customer relationships. He is excited to join the industry, expand his knowledge of federal and state regulations, and become an expert in the field. David is passionate about protecting the environment, and when not working, you can find him climbing or camping with his dog.
Amy Heath
Office Manager
Amy has been with DS for more than 14 years, and is the backbone of operations as the acting Office Manager and Head of Accounts Receivable. Amy is the first line of contact that many clients encounter when they call our office, and she oversees communication and transactions with those clients throughout the lifecycle of their projects with DS. It is thanks to Amy’s organizational strength and ability to juggle several responsibilities at once that the rest of the team can do their jobs as well as they do. Amy was born in Texas, but grew up in Colorado, and calls this state home. She is an avid cyclist, and enjoys touring in her free time.
